Our Story
PaySiga was born in 2022 in Accra, Ghana, from a simple but powerful observation: accepting mobile money payments across Africa was unnecessarily complex. Businesses were forced to cobble together multiple integrations, deal with unreliable providers, and navigate a fragmented landscape.
Our founders — with combined experience building payment systems at major banks and global fintech companies — set out to create a unified payment gateway that abstracts away the complexity. One API to accept payments from MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Vodafone Cash, and more.
Today, PaySiga processes over 12 million transactions every month across 15+ African countries. From street vendors in Accra to e-commerce platforms serving the entire continent, we're proud to power the businesses that are driving Africa's digital transformation.
